Eastern Fitness: Tai Chi and Yoga HF033
This class introduces students to two ancient traditions with gentle stretches, quiet breathing, and meditative movement. Students learn techniques to use at home or at work to decrease stress in the mind and body. Open to all abilities. Can be done seated in a chair.
Session 1: warm-up, tai chi stances, Qi Gong, slow movement coordinated with breathing.
Session 2: warm-up, breathing techniques, soft stretches, yoga poses and flows.
