Community News For The Manchester Edition
GED Testing Offered MANCHESTER -- Every Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., Manchester Adult Education is offering free GED testing in the Portables at Manchester High School, 134 Middle Turnpike East. MANCHESTER -- The Manchester Public Library and Manchester Adult Education will co-host a new initiative called Coffee and Conversation once a month on Fridays from 4 to 4:45 p.m. at 586 Main St.

Learning Gets Better with Age Award
Congratulations to our recent graduate Robert Chaney for winning The Learning Gets Better with Age Award! This award is an annual national award recognizing three individuals each year who achieved their high school equivalency or GED on or after age 55. Its purpose is to recognize individuals selected for their personal achievement and share their stories to inspire others and recognize that learning is both lifelong and not limited to age. After Losing Years to Addiction, Manchester Man to Receive Diploma at Age 61
At 61 years old, Joe O'Neill finally got the opportunity to finish what he started. Alcoholism and drug abuse derailed his path, but his dedication and perseverance ultimately lead to him walking across the stage.
