Online Job Training Program for Unemployment Claimants
Governor Ned Lamont announced the statewide expansion of a program that will make free online learning licenses available to recipients of unemployment insurance, including those who have been impacted by the economic fallout of the COVID-19 public health crisis. The SkillUp CT program will significantly expand access to comprehensive online course work from a leading global provider for thousands of Connecticut residents.

Additionally, CWP (Capital Workforce Program) has updated American Job Center services to be accessible through a dedicated toll-free Job Seeker and Employer Call Center at 860-406-3374. The Call Center will operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is equipped to serve both employers seeking assistance and job seekers. The Call Center will also offer supplemental assistance for general information on unemployment compensation and provides bilingual service support for Spanish speaking individuals. www.capitalworkforce.org
